Have you ever tried to find a support number for LinkedIn?
Did it frustrate you when after doing an extensive online search you came up empty handed, “Zero, zilch, zip, nada, nothing.” Well, that’s because a customer phone number does not exist. Believe me when I say you are not alone in trying to find one. You can visit the LinkedIn help center, that will also get you nowhere. You would think this big professional social media site would have live help. Well, it does, just not where you would think to look.
I found myself on twitter one day looking up what was trending for LinkedInand low and behold I found the holy grail of Live LinkedIn support right on twitter. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read all the “Thank You tweets” back to the LinkedIn help twitter page.
People were getting help for every kind of issue possible and it was happening so quickly. I decided to ask a couple questions myself. The first one was answered in less than 1 minute. Now that rocks! I can tell you it will probably take you more than 1 minute if it is a busy day. My second question took about 5 minutes, I have waited up to 13 minutes not bad. Kudos to @LinkedInHelp on twitter, all my questions I tweeted had a very cheerful tweeter on the other side. I pondered a bit about keeping this a secret, but it seems paying-it-forward is a lot nicer way to help anyone that has been frustrated with not finding an actual phone number for live help. I tweeted to ask the hours of operation and I am happy to say it took less than 6 minutes for a response. Not too shabby, nice work LinkedIn.
@LinkedInHelp What are your hours of operation for LinkedIn help? Thanks
@LoribethPierson Via Twitter? 6am – 5pm PST, Mon – Fri. Via email, we offer support almost 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 🙂 -CAM
A second source for help I find was on the LinkedIn Facebook page. I have not personally asked a question there, but I see others have and received a response in return.
I hope that helps my tribe and anyone who is reading this post. If you have any other “LinkedIn Help” sources please share here with us. I would love to hear from you.
