A couple days ago, I saw an article from career cloud saying:
“Linkedin Just Added a Small Feature That Was Long Overdue”.
I am always trying to stay up to date with LinkedIn. So I began my search to see if anyone else had this awesome new feature. I started by checking my own “Who’s viewed your profile” I was a little disappointed that I did not have this nifty new feature yet. The article went on to say:
The info is sporadic at the moment and can also be seen via the mobile app.”
I decided to check my iPad and mobile phone. No such luck on the iPad, or my mobile app. I decided to go and ask LinkedIn why I didn’t have access yet. My first tweet, ( A faster way to reach LinkedIn for help):
@LoribethPierson Great question! This should be visible on your profile. Do you not see it on your account? -JMG
This went on for a couple more tweets and some picture exchange of what I was seeing and the last reply was:
@LoribethPierson We’d like our team to look into this further for you. Pls msg them directly via: xyz
The LinkedIn team looked into for me and this was their reply:
Hi Loribeth, At this time we don’t have that specific functionality available to all the members, but I’ve sent your suggestion to our product team for consideration. When many of our members ask for the same improvement, they try their best to get it done. However, due to the large number of suggestions they receive, they usually don’t provide a timeline.
Not the answer I was looking for, but I was happy to get such a quick responce from LinkedIn. If you think this would be beneficial to have I would love to hear your feedback. If you already have this nifty little feature on your “Who’s viewed your profile” let me know what you think? Does it help?
Leave your comments below, I would like to hear your opinion on this feature.
